The YWW 45 TU is a thermally broken window wall system designed to meet the performance requirements of window walls for multistory buildings. To maximize its thermal performance, glass is set to the front of the system. The glass may be glazed from either the interior of the building to save labor costs or it may be glazed from the exterior at column line applications. Utilizing YKK AP's ThermaBond Plus® pour & debridge technology, this system delivers improved thermal performance to conserve energy and lower operating costs with a U-factor as low as 0.33.
The YWW 45 TU may be installed with head and sill members running continuously or with head and sill members cut in between the vertical members. Sill flashing is only required when the head and sill members are cut in between the verticals.
