365 Beauty Studio Obolon

The beauty studio is located in a prestigious new building in Kyiv's Obolon district. This is the third object of the 365 network, the design for which was created by the Bogdanova Bureau team. The brand colors and function unite them, but each is distinguished by the vibe and interior design.

– Working on a network establishment places you within certain boundaries, as it is necessary to preserve the brand's signature colors and identity. At the same time, we needed to create a unique interior that would reveal the philosophy of 365 from a new perspective. The concept of the studio on Obolon focuses on the connection between external transformation and internal renewal. That’s why we chose the aesthetics of a paradise island, visiting for beauty treatments feels like a kind of journey to a retreat. –  explains Olga Bogdanova, founder of Bogdanova Bureau.

The signature style of the 365 network combines green and white colors. In the new project, the designers reimagined this palette by incorporating green as a gradient on metal facades. The cool sheen of stainless steel adds a contemporary touch to the space.

The first thing a guest sees upon entering the studio is the bar. This feature has become a signature element for the 365 network. Here, coffee, tea, cocktails, and snacks are served.

The large spiral staircase is the most complex architectural element of the project. The initial layout of the premises included the staircase in a different location, which did not align with the ergonomics and functional zoning of the beauty studio. After approval from the building’s architects, a new opening was cut into the floor slab between the levels, and two support columns were installed. The semi-spiral staircase connects all three levels of the studio. Its structure is suspended on metal cables, decorated with cotton fibers in a tropical style. The metal handrails are integrated into the cable and support system and are wrapped in green leather. Ascending to the second floor is a metaphorical journey into the jungle.

Zoning

The first floor is the men's area, featuring barber chairs, manicure, and pedicure stations, as well as a private VIP room for guests who prefer to be serviced alone or in pairs.

The women's area occupies the second floor. At the center of the hairdressing hall is a color bar, where hair dyes are mixed. In addition to the nail care room, there is also a special room for parallel service packages. The toilet in the restroom is made from recycled sawdust, emphasizing the studio's eco-friendly approach, alongside the use of vegan cosmetic products.

The basement level houses a children's area, which is the safest space and also functions as a bomb shelter during air raid alerts. The children's area is divided into a hairdressing hall, a play zone, and its own restroom. While parents are enjoying beauty treatments, children can have fun playing on a gaming console, a digital table, or with toys.

– The atmosphere of 365 studio Obolon is all about relaxation through connection with nature and oneself. "We combined tropical energy with modern materials and digital solutions to create an oasis where not only the external transformation of guests takes place but also their deep inner renewal.– shares architect Olga Bogdanova.
