Overview 443 Greenwich is a landmarked former book bindery in New York City’s TriBeCa neighborhood, a loft building being transformed by developer MetroLoft and design firm CetraRuddy into one-of-a-kind residences, from the 1882 original by noted architect Charles Coolidge Haight.

Spanning the length of an entire city block and 250,000 square feet of interior space, 443 Greenwich's new design celebrates the classic building's architectural history and is filled with 21st-century energy. MetroLoft is behind the project and has brought together a renowned team of designers including the celebrated architecture and interiors firm CetraRuddy and the noted landscape architect HM White for the 4,000-square-foot, landmark-designated interior courtyard.

Details Seven-story, red-brick building at 443 Greenwich Street between Desbrosses and Vestry streets in TriBeCa that was erected in the 1880s that has been converted to 53 residential condominiums, including eight penthouses. MetroLoft, led by Nathan Berman, is the developer, and CetraRuddy is the architect and interior designer for the conversion. HM White is the landscape architect. The building has previously served companies in silver, drug, book binding, toys and steel wool. It is distinguished by a six-sided, 4,000-square-foot landscaped courtyard with sassafras trees overlooked by 600 windows with shutters. The penthouses range from 3,500 to 9,500 square feet while the lofts range from 2,000 to 5,000 square feet. The renovation of the landmarked building was designed by noted architects CetraRuddy. Amenities include a 24-hour doorman and concierge service, indoor swimming pool, children's playroom, landscaped roof terrace, steam rooms, saunas and a state-of-the-art fitness center, as well as private fitness studios.

About Majestic architecture, extraordinary finishes, a wealth of space and ultimate privacy in the perfect TriBeCa location. 443 Greenwich is a category unto itself, offering extraordinary homes merging the spirit and physical forms of the 19th and 21st century into a unique, singular presence.

MetroLoft and CetraRuddy have constructed a new building within the historic frame of this TriBeCa landmark, where the most significant architectural elements remain. Original features such as the impossible to replace Carolina Yellow Pine beams remain intact. CetraRuddy have remastered Charles Haight’s original architecture, fusing classic proportions and silhouettes with contemporary textures, palettes and design.
