Achime Bagel is a small bakery located in Munjeong-dong, Seoul, conceived around the idea of beginning the day well.

The project started from a simple thought: freshly baked bagels, made with good ingredients and handed over in a small but pleasant space, could be enough to create a meaningful morning experience. Achime Bagel follows a daily production and same-day sales principle, and we wanted this straightforward and sincere attitude to naturally appear in the space.

The open kitchen became the central scene of the project. Rather than hiding the production process, we exposed the early-morning preparation, baking, and movement of the staff. The activity of preparing the day, together with the warmth of freshly baked bread, becomes part of the spatial experience.

A green floor was introduced to evoke the freshness of morning air and young leaves, while the red table brings warmth and vitality into the space. Small pendant lights were placed like fragments of the morning sun, adding a gentle rhythm to the compact interior.

Custom furniture and objects were designed as part of the brand’s everyday operation. The pickup wall was created with delivery in mind and designed to be movable and detachable. The sign board takes inspiration from a rolled scroll, reflecting the idea of sharing good news. The wooden door handle, shaped slightly larger than an actual bagel, translates the identity of the bakery into a tactile detail.

Through these elements, Achime Bagel was designed not simply as a place to sell food, but as a small scene for beginning the day — where production, movement, material, and everyday rituals come together.
