Located in downtown Sarasota, the Aloft Sarasota Hotel is conceived as a contemporary hospitality environment defined by open social spaces, tech-forward amenities, and a vibrant urban atmosphere. The 139-room hotel combines compact, efficiently planned guest accommodations with a series of flexible communal areas, including the W XYZ® bar, rooftop pool and Splash Pool Bar, and informal lounge settings designed to support both leisure and work.
The design emphasizes connectivity and activation, with the lobby functioning as a social hub where seating, lighting, and program overlap to create a dynamic, day-to-night experience. A modern pool table is a detail that adds a contemporary touch, enhancing both the aesthetic identity and the functional versatility of the hotel’s bar and restaurant area. The project reflects Aloft’s broader brand approach, integrating playful elements, live music culture, and flexible gathering spaces within a cohesive, modern interior language that supports interaction, relaxation, and informal productivity.
