When we started the Higienópolis Apartment project, we saw that it was an old and large apartment. However, due to the layout of the rooms, there were several small spaces.

One of the main decisions in the architectural project was to open up the kitchen and one of the bedrooms to expand the living room. This doubled its space. As a central point of the integration between the kitchen and the living room, we designed a white quartz countertop with a wooden top that serves as a support for small meals. To integrate the living room, we suggested an island sofa that serves both the living room and the TV room. Thus, a comfortable environment for leisure and relaxation was created.

One of the clients' preferences was a clean and minimalist aesthetic for the apartment. Therefore, for the cabinetry and countertops, we focused on light tones, as well as for the walls, choosing some points to highlight.

An example of this was the island designed in the kitchen, all in white granite with a natural veneer cabinet shelf for support, structured in metalwork and with built-in lighting.

We also highlight the custom-made range hood, a cylindrical stainless steel structure with an exposed frame that runs through the kitchen to the service area, with a more industrial aesthetic. Also in the dining room, we designed a bar in natural veneer and LED lighting integrated into the dining room cabinetry. A detail designed especially for the client to store and display their collection of drinks.

For the social area, we chose a porcelain tile floor that integrates the entire environment of the living room, kitchen, pantry, powder room, and laundry room. In the private area, we opted to work with tauari parquet, a light wood following the language of the rest of the apartment, comfortable and welcoming. For the guest bedroom and master suite, we maintained this clean aesthetic, bringing the wood veneer to the bedside tables and specific points.

For the bathrooms, we brought the same porcelain tile flooring used in the living room, and the same stone used in the kitchen for the countertops.

The highlight of the bathrooms is the shower enclosures, with their exposed track and rollers in a chrome tone that complements the rest of the metal fixtures used in the apartment.
