"The Athénée Royal is about to begin a new life. Its transformation will last several months during which old and new buildings will have to coexist… For the sake of functionality, we propose a single building. Each function is accessible without having to leave the protective envelope. Nevertheless, we have worked to ensure that the different zones are clearly distinguished. The construction takes the form of a sculpted volume whose height varies. The child's perception has been at the heart of our thinking. The classrooms and the dining hall open onto the surrounding nature. We have placed the playgrounds and outdoor circulation areas away from the teaching spaces. The calm of the classrooms is guaranteed…"
