The renovation project focused on energy and functional refurbishment, but also on a re-interpretation of the building, reading the existing structure knowing how to catch the essential lines through a wise and "playful" use color, capable connote strongly intervention. Few ingredients design (also dictated by stringent financial limits) well calibrated allowed to give a new vision of the entire school: a climax of warm and cool colors and new exterior solar controls have redefined the facade; a new concrete floor beams composed of parallel bands spaced out by grassy connotes the historic entrance of the school; the consolidation of the walls and curbs, irons deteriorated, the consolidation of the same walls define interventions for the safety of the school. The north wing of the school has been redesign to accommodate the new kindergarten. By redefining the interior spaces have been included two classrooms, dining hall, a control area, two bathrooms and a gym. The new colors define the indoor spaces: a new red plastic pavement defines the spaces of distribution and gym, instead cafeteria and classrooms are characterized by softer colors.
