This transformation of a two-family, three-story landmarked townhouse from 1860 was a surgical act of creating an energy-efficient, climate-resilient home with a sensitive approach to the 160-year-old structure.
We preserved original plaster and woodwork details while ensuring electrification and better energy efficiency through updated systems and new, high-performance openings. We retained and refinished the original old growth pine flooring throughout as well as repaired the intricate original front doors.
