In a privileged long hilltop with a 360º view of Caracassoutheastern hills, sits this house of 3,500 m2 implanted on a 10,000 m2 site. Following the terrain directions, the house develops in a linear fashion and adopts a crescent shape embracing the extensive gardens, which surrounds it.
The house has three levels with different general uses. In the ground floor, which strongly integrates with the surrounding gardens and panoramic views, we have the main private areas, main studio, dining room, gym and the kitchen, and the main social areasoverlooking the gardens and swimming pool.
In the second floor, ample longitudinal eaves develop along the whole façade, creating a vegetal microclimate, filtering the strong sunlight and framing the panoramic views. In the east section, we find the six rooms with all its services, and at the other side the private studio and a projection room. The third level comprises leisure areas and main terraces.
The huge exterior areas comprise extensive gardens, golf practice, swimming pool and Jacuzzi, and several multiple-use terraces, which conforms the ending side of the complex. The service and security areas, as well as the surrounding exterior walls, where conceived as a protecting stone fortress.
The project, which is now in construction phase, will include several urban scale interventions by Venezuelan contemporary artists.
