Lucas Lage as Architects

About the family: Couple with a pre-teen son and a 9-month-old baby.
About the land: Located in the Vespasiano Region, a privileged region in the city, the land has a large area of Atlantic Forest, a fact that guided the project.
About the program: A three-bedroom residence, the ground floor houses the ``social areas``, with a focus on integrating environments and contact with nature. While the upper floor houses the ``intimate areas``, with a focus on privacy and enhancing the landscape.

One of the premises of the Project was to create a “Home for the family”. The clients' desire was for a house where the internal spaces were designed to provide comfort for everyone and the external spaces were integrated with nature.

It is defined by the use of natural materials, such as wood and stones with neutral tones, forming a palette that integrates.
In the interior project, contemporary pieces were selected by big names in Brazilian design such as Sergio Rodrigues, Sergio Matos and Jader Almeida.
We highlight the Coral Chair by Brazilian design Sergio Matos, with its contours and colors that do not go unnoticed by visitors to the house.
The Wentz Chair – TUBO CHAIR, an icon of Guilherme Wentz design, entirely upholstered in WE–KNIT fabric — 3D mesh made from recycled PET, was chosen together with the clients, to bring an air of modernity to the dining room. The landscaping is composed of tropical species, making the spaces airy.

LIVING/DINING ROOM:
The ground floor next to the cinema has large openings to the outside, integrating the spaces with the outside. The double height creates a connection with the “intimate area” of the residence, creating integration between the environments, without losing the family’s privacy.

SECOND FLOOR
The three suites are located on the upper floor, giving the family more privacy.
When accessing the second floor, the burnt cement staircase brings modernity, elegance and a minimalist aesthetic.

KITCHEN:
To meet the customers' wishes, the kitchen, integrated with the gourmet area and swimming pool, forms spaces to welcome friends and family for moments of fun, creating a versatile and functional space.
