CASA D3

VDV ARQ as Architects

The project is developed on a 1000 m2 plot surrounded by two consolidated constructions on its perimeter, in a gated community on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.   Due to the requirements of the program, we had to solve a mixed-use, private and public space with a strong emphasis on being able to achieve a high level of privacy, closing the view to the street, its immediate surroundings and thus, allowing the project to generate its own landscape.

In this sense, the strategy is structured in the stratification of the program in 3 levels, solving a mixed use in a buried level but generating two large patios on its sides, in order to never lose the relationship with expansions outside those programs.   On the ground level, the development of the use is linked to a back garden, a water mirror and a social area.  A cantilevered volume allow private uses.   A stone plinth closes the space seeking privacy and solving various facilities.
