Casa Morelos is the remodeling of an existing home in a residential neighborhood in the Vitacura commune in Santiago de Chile.
The structure of the first floor is te original one, where the living room, dining room and integrated kitchen are housed along with the services of the house, the location of the house was maintained, leaving a front patio with parking and a rear patio.
The second floor has the bedrooms and bathrooms, natural lighting is essential in the house both through the skylights that illuminate the space and through the windows that project across the entire height of the upper volume to generate spatial spaciousness.
The façade has a brick covering that, together with the metal channel profile that supports the second floor, gives an industrial style to the volume.
