House 6x1 is located in the dunes facing the sea in Punta de Lobos, commune of Pichilemu, VI Region, Chile.
Its name is due to the existence of 6 housing units in a large extended volume for one family. Each home has an integrated living room and kitchen on the first floor and bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor of the unit.
The project is developed from 6 cubes that are rotated to obtain the best view and natural lighting, united by a second surrounding wooden façade.
The structure of the project is made of metal and wood, which is treated naturally to better blend in with the nature of the dunes. Most of the west façade is glazed to make the most of the views.
