The renovation project for this residence, located in a small condominium in the southern zone of Porto Alegre, was developed in three distinct stages, meeting the needs of different clients over time. The first stage, executed in 2020 and 2021, focused on the ground floor of the house, with an area of 130m². The focus was to provide privacy to the barbecue area and the patio through a slatted gate with a muxarabi pattern, painted in royal blue, the original color of the condominium's window frames.

Additionally, interventions were made in the patio, such as the construction of a pergola, also painted blue, next to the barbecue, a bench in exposed concrete, and a wall with hollow concrete blocks to cover the gas house. Inside, the floor was replaced with 10x20 wooden blocks, and the kitchen was integrated into the dining area. The fireplace was also redesigned to better integrate into the space.

After the house was sold, the new resident hired the office for the second stage of the project, carried out in 2021, which involved the patio and the third floor. In this phase, the focus was on the interior design of this third floor, dedicated to music and television, as well as rethinking the lighting and ambiance of the patio.

The third and final stage, executed in 2023, focused on the second floor of the residence. In this phase, the office was hired to design the interiors of the suite, including a general bathroom renovation. The small room on the second floor, previously little used, was transformed into a library and study/work space. We also designed the interiors of the client's stepdaughter's room.

The suite received wardrobes, bedside tables with Indian screens, a new fabric headboard, and cozy, indirect lighting. The suite's bathroom had its layout redesigned, with the inclusion of a shower and coverings in hydraulic tiles and porcelain. The girl's room was designed with wardrobes, spaces for toys, studies, and books, as well as playful elements such as a unicorn wallpaper and a large rainbow in pastel pink, white, and wood tones.

Throughout the three stages, the office sought to meet the specific demands of each client, adapting the project to the needs and desires of the residents, always striving to maintain the original characteristics of the house, so as not to lose its unity.
