The apartment is located on the top floor of a building in the Vomero district of Naples and, thanks to its large terrace, enjoys a stunning view of the islands of Nisida, Procida, and Ischia.
The renovation focused on reconfiguring the interior spaces to meet the new needs of a young couple: increased functionality and flexibility, along with improved natural lighting throughout the home.
From the entrance, one immediately sees the first distinctive feature of the apartment: a study corner enclosed by two sliding doors with a matte black frame and transparent glass, allowing light to flow into the space.
The study opens onto a hallway characterized by three flush-to-wall doors, giving it a clean, minimalist look with essential lines.
Beyond the hallway lies the living area—an open space where the kitchen and living room coexist and interact through a shared design language of shapes, materials, and colors.
All of the furniture in the kitchen and living room has been custom-designed and built with a unified aesthetic, using lacquered wood in a soft sugar-paper gray, accented with natural oak details. A light gray stone peninsula, matching the kitchen floor, connects the two areas and opens onto the spacious living room, enriched with ochre-toned furnishings that enhance the warmth of the light coming through the large glass doors.
The master bedroom has been enhanced with a custom-designed headboard that doubles as a storage trunk and bookshelf.
The room also features a large walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom, which, together with the guest bathroom, is entirely clad in stone-effect porcelain tiles in gray tones. Wooden elements—like the oak bathroom cabinets—warm up the space, maintaining consistency with the home’s overall style: contemporary, minimalist, and at the same time extremely comfortable.
