The project of this apartment in the historic center of Naples devastated by a serious fire in the 2000s is based on the recovery and enhancement of the valuable elements of the house such as wooden ceilings and half-timbered tuff walls but also original graniglia floors.
The serious damage suffered during the fire had the merit of exposing the structures of the house making our restoration work easier, carried out with the precious help of local craftsmen and technicians.
Following a critical approach to the restoration, the only new element of the house, a loft bathroom, is clearly distinguished from the context of the house, almost dematerializing, making the timeline of the interventions legible.
