Our openness and sensitivity towards the creative world with a partnership that will see us liaising for three years (2022-2025) with theLuigi Pecci Contemporary Art Centre in Prato, the first Italian institution designed from scratch aimed at presenting, collecting, documenting and supporting artistic research in the visual and performing arts, cinema, music, architecture, design, fashion and literature.
“We are very happy with this partnership which is based on our fundamental mission,” – says Romano Marcato, co-founder and owner of Lapalma. “That of making new experiences possible. Experiences among people. Among people and furniture. Among people, furniture and living environments.”
Lapalma and Pecci are both linked to the local area but with an international outlook, basing their partnership on a shared vision and a free and forward-looking outlook. One of the values that has always set Lapalma apart is curiosity, intended as the ability to nurture lateral thinking, creating innovative solutions to meet various design requirements and anticipating living trends and needs.
Likewise, the Pecci Centre, through its diverse activities - exhibitions, display projects, special events and educational activities - opens an interesting window on the contemporary, exploring all the expressions that bring people closer to the important themes of life and society.
The partnership will be developed at different levels, the first step being the setting up of the outdoor bistrot the Centre, a space open to the city where people can relax in a comfortable and stimulating environment.
And from Prato to Milan, the partnership with Centro Pecci will arrive in the heart of the 5 Vie district, in Piazza Gorani at RIVIERA. A creative space which will host a fringe activity in collaboration with the Museum throughout the year.
