At FORESIGHT 2019, the event proposed by Lombardini22 as a platform for discussion about the future of real estate, mobility, infrastructures and communities, which involved various sectors, we furnished the spaces of the Torre Allianz that hosted the event.
At Lapalma, for several years we have been exploring different design worlds (from Light Office to Lounge & Home and Café) and attending this event we confirmed our receptiveness to new living space needs and trends, and its continuous interaction with the main stakeholders in this field.
Our furniture accommodated speakers and guests on the stage at Foresight and in a comfortable lounge area, which included some of the proposals and solutions designed for this special project.
First and foremost, ADD, the modular seating system, designed by Francesco Rota, created to elegantly and smoothly meet the needs of new routines in the workplace and of sharing spaces. Comfortable and versatile, ADD is a basic element that can be used to create endless configurations. ADD, available in a wide variety of options, including a bench, a two-seater sofa, front-back seating, an S-shaped combination and circular arrangements, adapts to existing architectural features to create endless combinations. Ideal as a seating system for lounges and workspaces, as a sofa for waiting rooms, an upholstered chair for public spaces such as museums, restaurants, schools and shops, ADD can be complemented with wooden or Fenix side tables, which can be fitted with power sockets for charging smartphones, tablets or PCs.
Here it was presented with OORT, the cushion that comes in all shapes and sizes to suit specific needs, and becomes a furnishing component for embellishing various contexts. The PASS upholstered armchair by Hee Welling, ideal for the office and the home and for those who dream of departing while waiting in the lounge of a major airport, was proposed in combination with the BRIO small table by Romano Marcato. Featuring a fluid and embracing design and a large base that adds lightness and comfort to the seat, PASS is available with a choice of bases. Comfortable and elegant, it perfectly matches the minimalist design of the BRIO small table. BRIO, available with a round or square top, meets all needs as a top in restaurants, the office or any community space, thanks to its elegant functionality and lightness.
The Allianz Tower also hosts KIPUs, designed by Anderssen & Voll, colourful poufs with a rounded triangular shape and rounded corners. Available in different heights, colours, shapes and versatile combinations, these informal multi-purpose elements - including a chair, footrest, tabletop and side table - are perfect for furnishing any contemporary space with effortless charm. With entirely removable covers, they are available in bright shades of colour and in a variety of materials. The talk area was furnished with the MIUNN stool, designed by Karri Monni, which accommodated speakers with its embracing minimalism. Sinuous, with an inviting seat and perfect back support, MIUNN is available, with a plywood shell bent using 3D technology, in various finishes and with different bases that meet the most varied of needs.
Looking to the future of real estate means understanding the needs of new contemporary living, focusing on the wellbeing of individuals, sustainability, digital innovation and the relationship between spaces/buildings and people. Such consideration involves all the players concerned, from design studios to companies that are required to promptly provide innovative solutions for the increasingly sophisticated and varied demands of the real estate sector.
