CH

The client wanted to transform this tired poorly designed 1950’s house into a modern family home and appointed moon to take full responsibility for the project once planning consent had been obtained. Although having a large footprint, half of the existing property was single storey. Extending the height of this section has almost doubled the size of the property and added a fantastic double height dining space and central atrium to the house. The remaining rooms were refurbished and enhanced by the addition of a new bespoke kitchen and bathrooms. The house was insulated externally and new high performance windows were fitted throughout which has, combined with the new solar panels, vastly improved the energy efficiency of the building.
