Within the Athenian urban center, in Kolonaki, the building formerly known as "Z. Lorentzatou Apartment Building", includes all the elements of the Greek interwar architectural style, such as the vertically symmetrical lines, as well as the bay windows and its distinct combination of natural colors. At the same time, it retains its connection to the urban fabric of the capital city of Athens, with COCO-MAT retail store being placed at the ground floor and the thirty-nine rooms developing above it. Vertical movement to the upper floors is achieved by a central elevator, which reveals the character and the age of the structure. Recent renovation intervention combined with the improvement of the social and living standards led to the creation of an extra elevator that serves disabled people. The intense rhythms of the city are eliminated thanks to the interactive facade of the building, which includes movable components, while at the same time the openings are covered with minimal style windows and doors, which ensure the unification of the internal and the external environment.
