The expansion of the Swiss school of Mexico uses two main ideas in its concept: linking and interweaving. In order to link the existing school with the expansion we created two wide axes as logical connectors: along the north south axis units with empty spaces are inserted, each having a garden with different character and function. The educational areas are lodged around the central garden, removed from the social and sports grounds. The design of the facades follows the principle of a deciduous tree: a net made up of concrete frames receives prefabricated elements and aluminum windows a system that allows to adapt the facade to the ecological conditions.
