SWIMMING POOL AT A COUNTRY HOUSE
The project focuses on the construction of a small pool, fitting in with the garden area where it is located.
The beauty of the surrounding setting demands great respect for the pre-existing state, with a need to imitate the colour and texture of all the surroundings.
The pool proposed recalls the traditional rafts built in the area. The pool’s ochre tone dominates its appearance, in a clear dialogue with the surrounding walls.
The interior is covered with a cement-based plaster, and is topped off with pieces of clay recovered from a nearby farmhouse. A lemon tree stands over the pool.
