A strong architecture ! Fongaly, the real estate manager of the Cora brand, intends to capitalise on the reputation of the flagship site of Mundolsheim in Alsace. Following two years of a major renovation and an expansion of 10,000 m2, 50 new brand names, medium-sized supermarkets and a food court were added to the commercial offer.
A strong architectural gesture Outsign agency offers a strong architectural vision which confirms the leadership of the renovated area: the patina copper coloured roof outlines a characteristic waved silhouette, which quickly rises to the right of each entrance to create the image of the “ballon d’Alsace”.
A lasting and unforgettable brand identity The materials were inspired from the local environment: pink sandstone and pine trees from the Vosges, and skinned copper colors you can find on several buildings in the region – like on the Strasbourg cathedral.
As the follow-up to the architecture, the identity affirms the space as soft and welcoming : inspired by one of the symbols of the local vegetation, the geranium, Outsign agency created a recognizable graphic identity in keeping with Cora’s philosophy.
