Cube House

The main idea began from two turning boxes. We subtract the volume of the boxes out to bring natural light and ventilation into the internal space and functions. It also provides a connection between each function in the house.

The stamped concrete external walls help reducing the raw look of using bare concrete material. Including the wooden skins on the façade of the house also helps concealing the windows from outside.

Due to the land size and local regulations, the size of the house was limited, the house was designed to gain the best benefit space by using a perfect box-shape that represent true material and the sense of Tropical Architecture.
