Our project aims at developing a new idea of kiosk.

We realised a small retail space with public function, 36 sqm large, realised in Dongdaemun Plaza, Seoul. The kiosk has a triangular shape, with two entrances on one edge, while on the opposite side it is carved out a niche provided with seating facilities. A black grass clad, able to reflect the surrounding space, characterizes the exterior of the kiosk, while the interior is made of laminated timber. Kiosks can also be assembled side by side; in this way, beyond responding to their commercial purpose, they offer the possibility to create a space for relaxing and resting.
