The EHL Bio office is located in the Industry Center, where offices of many companies are clustered. We wanted to create a unique space, excluding the uniform image of the Industry Center.
The long hallway with the meeting room positioned from side to side is intended to bring the image of the lounge into dramatic view. This passway to the office space, we used the elaborate curve and soft light to tried to exclude elements that could be psychologically rigid.
The lounge is a multipurpose space where employees have coffee, meals, and simple meetings. A wide table and chair was designed so that employees can freely use it for their purposes.
The lounge is an area of rest in the office so we used wood for both finishing materials and furniture to create a comfortable atmosphere. It was expressed in a space for free communication, and a large area was allocated to induce a balance between work and rest.
The office space and meeting room are neatly expressed in bright colors, and the boundaries of the space are made of glass materials so that it does not feel stuffy. In addition, due to the nature of bio companies that wear research clothes, the locker room was designed to increase the convenience of employees.
