In this project, our team was tasked with creating a space that not only exudes comfort but is also highly functional, all within the constraints of a compact 78 square meters. The clients, avid enthusiasts of classic American and Mid Century styles, expressed their desire for these influences to be reflected throughout their residence.
Situated in the prestigious ONE Rahmaninov Residence complex in Bucharest, the apartment boasts a total area of 78 square meters, complemented by a spacious 23-square-meter terrace. The overarching concept guiding our design was to provide a 5-star level of comfort for a vacation apartment, ensuring a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere.
The design style is a harmonious fusion of Classic American and Mid Century Modern aesthetics. To achieve this, we employed a variety of materials, including decorative profiles, high-quality wallpaper, washable paint, and wooden paneling. Remarkably, 85% of the furniture and elements in the project were crafted to order, meticulously designed based on our sketches and client-approved proposals.
The color palette selected for the interiors revolves around warm pastel tones, creating a welcoming ambiance. The predominant colors include blue, gray, and lilac, strategically incorporated to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal. This color scheme not only reflects the classic American and Mid Century influences but also contributes to the serene and inviting atmosphere of the space.
In summary, this project represents a successful marriage of comfort and functionality within a limited space, seamlessly blending the timeless charm of classic American design with the contemporary allure of Mid Century Modern aesthetics. The result is a stylish and inviting living space that meets the specific desires of our clients in ONE Rahmaninov Residence, Bucharest.
