Fiber optics rug

Once I discovered fiber optics threads were no longer made of glass, I was ready to explore imbedding the lights in wool tufted carpet so they could be stomped on. First came the vision for "Celestial Night", a rug featuring Ursa Major (Big Bear) and surrounding constellations. The stars are encrusted with jewel-like lights which twinkle on a backdrop of Matisse blue sky. Soon hospitality and residential projects came calling. Over the years we have perfected the process by moving from halogen to LED's lighting up the night.
