The project consisted in the rear extension of a flat garden. The main goal was to maximise its interiors and achieve as much natural light as possible in all its rooms. The brief was to create space for a bigger kitchen, a new bedroom with ensuite bathroom, laundry area and more storage.
The existing flat was 40sqm consisted of 4 areas: bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen. However, the property had available a generous outdoor space, so it was possible to extend the flat at the same time that keeping a nice space for a garden area.
In order to explore the true potential of the flat, we designed the interiors thinking about the architecture and the sourroundings as a whole. focussing on the design of the layout to explore the best options of the space.
We wanted to reinvent the space at the same time that keeping its essence creating harmony in the transition between the existing and new areas. Using natural textures and rich materials we developed a warm design generating cosy interiors throuhg a monochromatic story to the entire property.
In The White Interior, we love making the most of small spaces and optimise them as much as possible. We have into account the requirements and lifestyle of the homeowners, at the same time that we listen to the space and develop a design that works in all its senses.
