The client's vision was to create a parrilla restaurant where the grill master would be the true host, with everything revolving around the fire. The goal was to blend an intimate atmosphere with the relaxed vibe of a bar, offering an experience where conversations flow both with the host and with fellow patrons seated nearby.
The chosen location for the restaurant was an old house with compartmentalized rooms and a low-ceilinged basement. To achieve the desired grandeur and atmosphere, we removed a large portion of the existing slab, resulting in a double-height ceiling that makes a striking impression upon entering the restaurant. The ambiance is enhanced by the original brick walls, indirect lighting, and a backlit Onyx stone counter, which highlights the dishes and drinks served, elevating the overall experience.
