It is with great pride that we present the latest project by NOKE Architects. Today the historical lagering cellar houses a premium street food court set into a cosmopolitan stylish interior.

Famous for their previous spectacular undertakings, the investor (Food hall Browary)) and the owner of Browary Warszawskie (ECHO Investments) were on a lookout for a designer who would go beyond the challenges posed by the need to reconcile what is required by the conservator with what is needed by the f&b businesses. They wanted someone who knew how to design the spirit of a soon-to-be model modern investment, likely to get international hype in less than no time.
Piotr Maciaszek (architect and partner at NOKE Architects) sums it up by saying “We love demanding projects and working on tailor-made solutions”.

The designers’ objective was to freshen up the standard idea of a food court. Piotr Maciaszek confirms that they “prioritized coherence, consistency and the original simplicity of design in order to prevent overstimulation or stylistic cacophony”. Under three beautiful brick arches inherited from the lagering cellar top class international chefs and mixologists reign over 11 industrial stainless steel stalls, collectively injecting magic into this pioneer premium street food space.

NOKE Architects gave Warsaw foodies a chance to contemplate the mastery of the staff, deciding on open kitchens and a truly gigantesque cocktail bar with a stone countertop and an exquisite chandelier ornamented with hundreds of glass plates. Add the intimate wine bar with classy copper rings, the welcoming lodges of the nerve-soothing chill out lounge overlooking the green courtyard and the DJ on the stage at night and you know you are in an urban gourmet paradise.

We focused on maximum functionality. The space serves those looking for an on-the-go treat, a neutral business coffee or a quick pre-party dining option which can easily evolve into an all-nighter with only Food Hall Browary’s great cocktails and music until dawn to blame.

The eateries are interspersed with cozy zones where every piece of solid wood furniture was designed individually. For the sake of preservation of historical elements, the designers kept multiple original elements like the tables and benches mounted on the bases for beer barrels. The whole concept stands out for its obsession with details, such as the light given by the copper strip, cast stained glass lamps or copper portals inviting the guests to next sectors of the Food Hall. The foodie heaven is soon to be accompanied by a new mecca for clubbers with a mezzanine and a dancefloor on platforms.

Thanks to NOKE Architects Warsaw may boast another retrieved monument of unquestionable qualities. Old lagering cellar of the Warsaw Brewery has become the place to be in the capital, where the best foods and drinks meet the best design.
