The new pivoting hinges are equipped with a built-in high-tech comfort closure, which actively works in both swing directions. The hinges make it possible to tailor make a glass pivot door with a maximum size of 5.5m², that feels as light as a feather! The Anyway philosophy allows the door to open in all possible directions. The pivoting hinges are designed to create both offset axis and central 360° pivoting doors. In an offset axis pivoting door, we use a 1/3 ratio for the pivot point mounting.
Different hardened glass options
Depending on the environment, these pivoting glass doors can be made from various types of glass. Due to the wide range available, we strongly recommend a visit to one of the showrooms to ensure that you are aware of all possible options when making your choice. Transparency and maintenance aspects are also issues to take into account when making your choice. In general we offer extra clear transparent glass, acidified glass (maintenance-free), sandblasted glass with personalized patters or designs and colored glass such as Grey or Dark Grey glass.
The most popular choice is clear glass (6 or 8mm clear tempered glass - laminated also available). Tempered glass is used as a glass sheet with an aluminium frame as edge protection; the frame around the glass acts as an acoustic and thermal seal. This system gives you a perfectly closing unit that still provides transparency between the different rooms.
Modular patented locking technology guarantees a perfect closing unit
All pivot doors close soundlessly by means of patented locking technology integrated in the door as well as in the minimalist frame. The male (convex) part consists of a synthetic profile on the door leaf; the synthetic fitting in the door frame is the female (concave) part. Every Anyway door can therefore be set at an opening of 90°, or 180°/360°. Even with doors swinging at 180°/360°, this guarantees perfect closure and positioning. The invisible built-in ventilation is also provided as standard with full doors and glass-framed doors.
This pivot door concept can be used frame less, but it will lose it's "closing" capabilities this way. Light and air will bleed through around the door. The pivot concept is compatible with all door frames designed by Anyway Doors for a perfect fit.
