Completed in 2023 in the Istra District of the Moscow Region, Graphite is a 516 m² private residence where the exposed Fachwerk frame defines the architecture. Glued laminated timber posts and beams form a precise grid for panoramic glazing, while structural steel connections are concealed within the timber elements to preserve the clarity of the construction.
A double-height living and dining area opens onto a 108 m² terrace and the surrounding pine and birch landscape. The ground floor contains the kitchen, study, guest bedroom and service spaces; the upper floor holds three private bedroom suites. KATAN developed the architectural concept and led the project through completion, including interiors, landscape and pool coordination.
