STATE OF FACT

The urban area is currently well suited to predominantly residential area with buildings and equipment for worship, recreation and sport. To date, the area of the design is used as a green area and the area are the remains of a Roman villa (now covered by soil): the area is abandoned and has clear signs of neglect. The intervention is only part of the sport and, at this stage and not on the remaining part of a landscaped area (remains of Roman villa). The area in general, due to minor variations in height, is structured so you chose a sign of strong and decisive plan that is divided by an oblique axis that starts from the pole via Settevene, taking advantage of better odds than the current access from the road. Pre-feasibility study 'ENVIRONMENTAL

The implementation of the intervention aims to redevelop and enhance the public portion of the area currently in disuse with the aim to be beneficial to the entire city and part of land owned by the city with minimal environmental impact. Strong element of design is the decision to divide the area through a diagonal axis that will create two sharply distinct areas: - Green area (with the presence of Roman ruins) - Sports area The shape of the building Gymnasium stands as a green ribbon bearing in mind the application of vertical wall - horizontal plant (covered later).

DESCRIPTION OF

ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT

The project was developed with the intent to provide new space for the athletic sports in the best interests of the city of Ladispoli and was developed according to the criteria laid down by law, including regulations respecting CONI for sports facilities in accordance with the Ministerial Decree March 18, 1996 D.L. n.526 and s.m. and legislation on architectural barriers. The general layout is based on a system of distribution of space, simple and functional, but able to respond to organizational needs, safety and comfort and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs in the context of sport. The choices were dictated by the will, as well as by the need to create new spaces rational and functional in sports and racing to keep pace with the times, with a building that meets the needs of progress that has taken place in the technological field . The project involves the construction of a structure partly prefabricated reinforced concrete (fitness area) and in part in part in steel columns and trusses (gym area) with the corrugated steel insulated cover, just one floor above ground, for a covered area of approximately 2000 sqm. Particular attention will be paid to the use of renewable energy sources, providing, on the cover of a fitness surface area of 720 square meters occupied by solar panels and thus make the structure self-sustaining. While respecting some constraints preordained, as the entrances to the circle, the light wells, the limits of internal height, etc.., We have been concerned to identify a broad path that could easily lead to all the necessary services for sports, as well as social and recreational activities, disengaging optimally all the interior spaces. The main entrance to the center is located on the corner of Avenue Mediterranean and Avenue of the Narcissus. There are, then, secondary entrances giving access to local-storage warehouse and the emergency-medical offices. The objective of the design of the multipurpose sports was to create a flexible support for sport as fitness activities, athletic and competitive spirit in the territory of Ladispoli. Have been taken into account all of the requirements with the consequent need for rationalization of space and their best chance of management, with the objective, not secondary, to include even temporary users in an appropriate and comfortable. The project is related to building used as a multipurpose sports PLANT functions Gym, fitness area, outdoor playground and a second phase will create an area Spa / Restaurant / Guesthouse. In detail the architectural design prior to dimensional analysis of the distribution, the rooms were divided into two macrozone: 1.spazi Sports Gym, Sports 2.spazi FITNESS; The areas currently assigned to this activity are: - 75 sq.m. Hall | Hall and public areas: the traditional route to the bar, offices el'acceso to the gym, always characterized by the presence of shop windows and notice boards, but with the novelty of offering a new route directly to the sports already visible entrance. The real heart and meeting point of members, have the big news out directly outside, with large windows, some of which can be opened for access to the outside, thus giving light even during the afternoons.

- Bar 18 sq.m. | Average size, directly facing the outside and the real novelty of this design solution, with a food preparation room behind, appropriate to periods of great attendance, including support of sporting events, and access directed from the outside where you can enjoy in the summer also in the square. This would make it possible for everyone to take advantage of a small restaurant adjoining the bar which would make it the most common site from outside and therefore more alive during the year. Immediately after the space distribution of entrance corridor leads us to access the reception fitness spaces (locker rooms) and gym, the bathrooms / locker room staff. - Office - 15 sq.m. Reception | Reception with offices behind: located almost immediately after the bar, opposite the turnstiles at the entrance to the fitness and gym, next to the local medical and can also count on a workstation and bathroom . - 10 sqm Medical | Medical: the space is smaller than the "voice" has access from the outside; - Changing rooms 12 sq.m | Services: are located in close proximity of the spaces and of being. - Changing Rooms 88 sqm | 23 sqm instructors Locker | Locker uomo/donna100 sqm - 783 sqm Fitness | Gym: is housed in the north of the premises, also exploiting the step of the floors in order to obtain the maximum usable area. - Weight room 145 sqm - Fitness 120 sqm - Local Technical Stock + 171 m

The local store that, for reasons of safety, was placed in an environment free of direct relations with the outside world has been created below the bleachers. In the local gym exits also serve as access to any Delivery van (both for cleaning and for the aid) through the two large glass doors with panic bars on. The structure of the "gym area" has a maximum height of 11.60 ml, which decreased up to 7.65 ml and the structure is in steel pillars and trusses, with seven of the side closure in concrete, the structure of the 'fitness "is, however, reinforced concrete. The length of the building is 77.30 ml, while the width is 25.20 ml. The total area to gross area of the "gym and fitness area" is circa1948 sqm of which are added together the fields of outdoor play areas, or about 2105 square meters. The surface of the Future Spa / Catering / Guest House will be about 350/400 square meters. Finally, in the final analysis, particular attention was paid to the choice of finishing materials of the building. This choice was made in order to mitigate the impact that the structure of the center will have in the urban context, given its sensitive location in the territory, characterized by the presence of the church. The solution starts from the principle of respect of environmental impact but do not forget the cost and benefits of public works. MATERIALS

It makes use of finishing materials typical of the Modern Movement: Concrete and glass. E 'provided that the slabs of pavement are resting on Greton jet with overhanging concrete, waterproofing and screed for flooring that will cement resin. In environments in which they are expected, the ceilings are made of mineral fiber, plaster, depending on the needs of different environments, the fitness room are provided for acoustic panels. The interior fittings are made from natural materials, porous, electrostatically neutral, free of toxic or radioactive materials, they should ensure that perspiration vapor diffusion barrier without forming, acoustic insulation. Internal plasters are made using natural hydraulic lime eminently as excellent thermal insulation and humidity control in case it becomes necessary for the humidity, the plaster will be built with lime mortar mixed with pure cement. The coverage area of the gym is corrugated steel that will have the following advantages: 1. Noise Reduction The special production technology can enrich the 5 or 6 / 10 metal, 10 mm high-density polyurethane foam with metal fitting used (aluminum, coated steel, copper etc.).. This manufacturing process allows for a metal roof that the impact of rain or hail does not emit vibrations, avoiding the effect of tuning fork. The result is a hushed issue very similar to the roofing tile. In fact, to absorb the noise is necessary to conduct a coverage package consists of a set of components with different physical characteristics, and possibly of different thickness. 2. Reduction condensation. Polyurethane performs various functions including that of limiting the effect condensation. The solution to this problem is because inside of the cover layer of polyurethane, which is to have a high thermal inertia, breaks the contact between the interior and exterior sheet metal cover, preventing water vapor to meet a cold surface and thus to condense. 3. Excellent foot traffic. The use of simple sheet metal on the roof often has difficulty in ensuring an efficient resistance to foot traffic, a coverage must also ensure walkability over time to allow proper maintenance to ensure long life to the roof. Using some materials and "soft" often increases the risk of creating "bruising" which although not affecting the functionality of the roof, creating unsightly permanent level of cover. Solutions for this problem are important to increase the "consistency" of the pavement: this can be achieved by increasing the thickness of the same, increasing the thickness of the cover plate or association in a "body shop" with another material with a certain consistency or density. 4. Reducing hail damage. A hailstone can be large which normally ranges from 0.5 to 2 cm in diameter, effects that may result from the collision of hail on the elements of coverage depends on the material used. The roofing tiles, for example, are hard but are unable to absorb the impact, resulting in fragile to the point of crack, crack and break. The metal covers, however, are malleable, not break it and absorb the shock dented but not lose the function of weather resistance. The monolithic layer of polyurethane foam with high density, fitting the metal to participate in the absorption of impact Tek28 hailstone softening or eliminating the risk of bruising. 5. Elimination of the thermal bridge. The structure is crucial to isolate the metal roofing from the underlying metal structure. The use of corrugated steel insulated with its protective layer that covers the soffit plate, approximately 30% reduces the thermal load that weighs on the surface of the panel and substantially reduces thermal bridges, forming a barrier to heat loss. 6. Elimination galvanic couples. The phenomenon occurs when, in the presence of electrolyte solutions, there are two different metals in contact, so between them is determined by a difference of "potential". The behavior of the pair is that of a bi-metal stack with a metal that acts as the anode and cathode from each other, leading to a break-in time more or less prominent part of the anode. This type of corrosion is called "galvanic corrosion". The application of a layer of polyurethane avoids any contact between the slab and the underlying structure. 7. Effect ventilated warm roof. Additional benefits can be achieved in the design of a package of coverage ventilated. Beneficial effect on hot roof - A roof ventilation fan that can be called when the roof covering is separated from the insulating layer, creating a gap that would allow a smooth flow of air to move from the eaves to the ridge. It should be noted that the gap must not be less than 5 / 6 cm. And in the presence of positive slope. The constant and consistent air circulation, removes the heat transmitted from the roof surface, preserving the underlying layers from overheating. It 'is well known that sheet metal is exposed to sunlight on a roof heats up to twice the value of temperature. For example, in summer when the outdoor temperature is 30 °, the metal roof can reach 60 degrees or more, especially if it is dark in tone. This means that in the presence of a package raised the temperature of that space is affected by the high temperature of the sheet. This phenomenon certainly reduces the benefits of roof ventilation.
