Hanoia’s flagship store, located in Diamond Plaza, features flowing forms, subtle materials, and a signature “vóc” canopy—a reinterpretation of traditional lacquerware material. This architectural centerpiece honors Vietnamese craftsmanship while expressing it in a modern language, transforming the store into a destination for cultural appreciation in a contemporary design.
Project Description
Located in Diamond Plaza, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoia’s flagship store is a tribute to Vietnamese artisanal heritage. Designed with soft curves, natural materials, and gentle tones, the space exudes feminine elegance and quiet strength. More than a boutique, it functions as a cultural venue—hosting events and offering a tactile journey into Vietnamese lacquer traditions.
The architectural centerpiece, a canopy inspired by traditional “vóc,” pays homage to lacquerware craftsmanship. Produced with refined material layering and lighting integration, it becomes both visual landmark and symbolic gesture—linking past and present. Display furniture is modular and mobile, allowing flexibility for exhibitions and installations. Zones are separated by product lines yet unified by a warm, immersive spatial identity.
This is not merely a store—it is an abstract theatre of time and design, offering customers a layered experience of cultural continuity, refinement, and reinvention.
