The Anne Duportal House of Health and Environment brings together in a single-storey building three general medicine practices, a physiotherapy practice, an Ambulance office, a nursing practice and the offices of the "Ben es seï nous" home help and reintegration association.

The building is oriented to the south along the length of the land, maximizing passive solar gain and promoting the provision of natural light in all rooms of work, consultation, waiting or relaxation. All the constructive and technical solutions required for the proper functioning of a passive building with minimal energy consumption and controlled heat loss were implemented (wood frame construction, reinforced insulation, triple glazed exterior joinery with PASSIVHAUS certification, high efficiency double flow, etc.).

The project is also part of an ecological approach by promoting the use of bio-based materials (wood frame construction - Breton wood, cellulose wadding insulation, raw cork siding and wood siding ...). The impact on the plot and the urban area is also controlled by the in-situ use of earthworks (creation of landscaped buffer strips) and the evacuation of rainwater on the surface is carried out via several planted valleys.

It is a building built with a prefabricated wood frame, allowing for a quick lifting. The wooden frame, made of trusses, has the advantage of being light, quick to implement and offers interesting spans. The insulation of the building is mainly made of bio-based materials such as cellulose wadding (interior insulation) and raw cork for the exterior covering.

A wooden cladding emphasizes the accesses and frames the woodwork of the consultation rooms. Finally, the mixed wood and aluminum PASSIVHAUS triple glazing gives the building a better thermal comfort, avoiding heat loss.
