The house is located at the edge of the town, close to the reserve area of the High Fens, of which the colours can be seen from the dining room. The single slope volume was chosen due to the typology of the neighbouring farm. This volumetry also respects the identity of the sheds and related buildings; basic and sober volumes that are built in a very simple way. The configuration of the porch, that is very common in traditional architecture, can be used as carport or covered terrace protected against wind and bad weather.
