The FB house is located in Costa Esmeralda, private venture on the dunes of the Buenos Aires coast, 390 km from the city of Buenos Aires. The batch to intervene has large differences both transversely and longitudinally. It also has a forest of maritime pines located at the bottom of the lot, which was premise to preserve. These particularities of the land led to an elevated house, which rests on a concrete retaining wall leaving a step from the front of the ground towards the bottom, favoring a greater connection. The fact of making the house elevated made the views from the interior to the treetops giving the sensation of being inside a forest.

The client was looking for a low maintenance house, which is why they looked for an enclosure of exposed brick which did not have much maintenance. The budget of this house was limited so there was a limitation regarding the amount of square meters to build, so it was sought to make a very functional house where the bedrooms have the minimum measures to be able to leave more room to the living room.

By means of a light cover it was sought to highlight the living room giving it height and allowing indirect light to enter the environment. This is how light cover is taken as an independent element which is supported by the volume of brick, covering the living room and the gallery favoring and hierarchizing its joint use.
