The pronounced slope to the southwest and the respect for the beautiful trees on the property form the basis for the design. The arrangement of the floors and the rooms, as well as the orientation to the panoramic mountain view are derived from this wonderful place and enable a seamless and sensitive integration into the idyllic environment. The building, which is open on three sides, sits in a clearing and uses the surrounding groups of trees to structure its interior and exterior spaces. While the supporting structure on the living floor is open and simple, load-bearing elements are specifically used on the sleeping floor to gently surround the interior.
