Within the entrance area of Katendrecht in Rotterdam, known as Groene Kaap, our clients purchased a luxurious stacked city home. The raw, industrial, and eco-friendly nature of the neighborhood served as the inspiration for the interior design.
The ground floor embodies the most raw and industrial ambiance. Here, the living kitchen and dining room are located. The living kitchen has a robust appearance and provides ample space to enjoy with a group around a large kitchen island. The kitchen cabinets, crafted from bamboo and zaha stone, offer a refined touch. Concrete plaster and bluesteel adorn the walls and floors, while the wind lobby is made of raw steel.
On the first floor, the living space has a warmer nuance thanks to a wooden herringbone floor. This floor extends to a custom-made seating area in the facade, where one can enjoy a breathtaking view over Katendrecht. Here too, concrete, raw steel, and natural materials are featured in the interior design.
