A prominent private client tasked Trend Group with designing and building their new head office in Pretoria, South Africa. Trend Group's role encompassed the complete design and build process, ensuring a space that reflected the client's commitment to a greater cause, their mission to foster growth within their industry and invest in a sustainable future.

The brief called for a workspace that not only met high global standards but also resonated with a local identity and legacy. This involved delivering a workspace that was uniquely designed to their business operations, infused with elements of sustainability and cultural significance.
From Concept to Creation
Trend Group approached the project with a design concept that sought to translate the client's vision into a functional and inspiring workspace. The reception area, adorned with green quartz stone, set the tone for the office's earth tones. The breakaway space featured a ceiling light adorned with plants, reinforcing the sustainability theme.
One of the challenges faced during the project was consideration for the soffit height and working with an exposed ceiling detail. Trend Group turned this into an advantage by adding an industrial element, with the muted ivory colour softening its appearance and blending seamlessly with the overall design.
