ION Orchard & The Orchard Residences is a 56-storey residential and commercial development comprising a 4-storey basement, 4-storey retail space, a 4-storey car park with a residential tower block (175 Units), 2-storey observation deck and ancillary facilities. A 3,000-metre square public event space and a public art exhibition space on the 56th floor of the residential tower was also designed for public use.

Boasting one of the largest sheltered public spaces and a media wall, ION Orchard is the "centre of gravity" in Singapore's shopping belt. Lush landscaping including a 6m green wall breathes life into the development. The building blends into its surroundings and redefines the pedestrian experience with innovative space planning. 

Re-imagining the original orchards and reflecting growth from seed to tree, the amorphous cladding and organic design evokes a new energy and spirit. The team went beyond addressing the challenge of seamless integration with surrounding buildings to redefining the pedestrian experience with new internal and external urban spaces. Lush landscaping was introduced, including a six-metre green wall. Throughout the construction, the underground train station remained operational.
