Jurubeba was conceived as a space for “creative bar cuisine,” where the menu and branding unfold as key elements in the design decisions. To match the diversity of the dishes, the architectural approach draws inspiration from various traditional Brazilian bars.

The program includes sidewalk seating, kitchen and support areas, a main dining hall, and a bar. At the entrance, tables set along the sidewalk invite guests to experience the traditional “Carioca way” of engaging with the city’s bars. The dining hall, maintaining an informal style in both layout and atmosphere, features a few tables and the counter that separates the spaces.
