Fun, welcoming, and transparent — three key principles that guided the design of this bakery specialized in croissants. The colors and typography from the branding were extensively used in shaping the space.

Located on the ground floor of a townhouse in Vila Madalena, São Paulo, Kio is divided into three areas: a veranda with tables, a counter with a display case, and a production area at the back. Focused on selling small-sized treats, the bakery has a high demand for packaging boxes. To address this, shelves and niches were strategically placed to store packaging and add visual dynamism to the space. The repeated logo on the boxes helps create a cohesive ambiance in the main room.

From the counter area, it's also possible to observe the inner workings of the production kitchen, where the chef handles and fills the dough before it goes into the oven.

For those who choose to enjoy their treats on-site, there’s a covered veranda. Concrete block benches and planters line the edges of the space. Plants, colorful tables, and chairs contribute to a vibrant and comfortable atmosphere. The concrete blocks also appear in other parts of the project, serving as the primary material for the structural base.
