The Kaboom! project consists in the study and realization of the interior and exterior spaces of a 90 sqm newly built apartment in Parma, for a lover of punk rock music, comics and sci-fi movies. The apartment, located on the ground floor, overlooks all the sides of the large private garden of pertinence.
The client's request was to create a calibrated environment around his world: a temporary, adaptive atmosphere for his young age, where he can find peace while returning home from work, receiving friends, listening to music and spending moments of conviviality and relax.
Reload has adopted an integrated approach to the project by dealing with all the parts in an organic way: from the choice of materials, to spatial configuration, to the choice of colors and lines. All dialogues in a delicate balance of accents.
The intense natural brightness adjoins the lighting project designed by Reload to create lighting scenarios adapted to different environments. The LED lighting at 3000k, in some protagonist situations and in other discrete yet functional, always tries to reveal the original canvases of the owner, with bright colors and often protagonists in the environment.
Going beyond the entrance door you will find the large living area, the heart of the home, configured in a fluid way and free from visual obstacles, so that through the large windows that open on the garden creates a sense of continuity between the interior and exterior.
Visitors are welcomed by an unusual picture of Batman on the square of the city of Parma, the starting point of the design, both as a palette of colors and as a conductor of the entire philosophy of design.
A large fabric sofa and a large iron and wood bookcase define the living room; next to the kitchen with clean and essential lines and dark gray color it connects to it with a desk enriched by stools that resemble Spiderman's spider web. At the entrance the dining area is defined by the large dark table and the maid that resembles the same colors and library materials.
From living a long corridor leads to the sleeping area, which reaffirms the choice of colors and materials.
The master bedroom, with simple lines, is characterized by the blue-gray / gray painted headboard wall, a large wardrobe and iron bedside tables designed and tailor-made for this project. The main bathroom consists of a long bathroom cabinet with integrated bath, designed and made to measure. The ceramics on the opposite side form a colorful and geometric picture that is environmentally friendly; the monkey lamp hanging on the desk reminds us of the young man's spirit. The second bathroom with shower, has more traditional and neutral colors and is characterized by rock mirror lights that resemble the shape of a microphone.
The project also faced the exteriors through the design of green and paved paths, the choice of tree species and the study of lighting.
