ILanserhof Tegernsee health resort opened in the Upper Bavarian village of Marienstein in Waakirchen last January. The treatments offered here focus primarily on detoxifying and purifying the body. The architecture is based on this health concept. Architect Christoph Ingenhoven created a streamlined, reserved design that allows guests to focus on what’s truly important during their stay –themselves and their own physical and spiritual regeneration. The 21,000 m2 facility has a classic estate layout, with a design inspired by a monastery. The green courtyard plays an essential role in the facility’s overall design. The beautiful spa resort blends seamlessly with its surroundings – a serene retreat where people can relax and actively promote their personal healing.
Several comfort and convenience functions: NEOREST LE WASHLET from TOTO The look of the 7,000 m2 medical treatment area is dominated by wood combined with white and other warm colours. The focus of this area is detoxifying and purifying the body. Doctors and therapists develop an individual treatment regimen for every guest to make this natural self-cleansing process as comfortable as possible. This is why the hotel management decided to install the convenient, comfortable and highly hygienic TOTO WASHLETs: A total of 84 NEOREST LE WASHLETs are installed in the 70 double rooms and suites, as well as the treatment area. This particular model has the most comfort and convenience functions of any TOTO WASHLET, featuring a sensoroperated lid, heated seat, individually adjustable wand jet for intimate cleansing and dryer, as well as an automatic flush. The deodoriser eliminates unpleasant odours.

Nils Behrens, Managing Director of the resort, added:“Our guests greatly appreciate the comforts that the WASHLETs have to offer. They find the gentle warm-water cleansing to be very pleasant and refreshing.” Lanserhof Tegernsee combines health with enjoyment and hospitality. The resort includes a separate bathhouse a sauna, steam room, sanarium, fitness centre and heated outdoor saltwater pool, as well as the neighbouring Margarethenhof 18-hole golf course. “Our guests feel energetic and in balance when they leave,” explained Beh¬rens proudly.
