Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti: the award winner five-star luxury hotel, with Studio Apostoli’s interior design

Studio Apostoli has designed the interior and the SPA area of one of the most awarded luxury destinations in recent years.

It is among the most awarded Resorts facilities of the last two years, with 15 international awards that have sanctioned its excellence for services, common areas and suites, as well as for its wellness center, developed for over 5,000 square meters and today winner of the Bundesverband Schwimmbad & Wellness Awards in the categories "Pool" and "Whirlpool". Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti is part of the small group of five-star luxury hotels in Trentino Alto-Adige and since its opening in August 2019, it has collected prestigious awards, from Hong Kong to the United States, as "World's Best New Resort SPA" or “New Hotel of the Year”, confirming its status as an essential destination in the Dolomites area.

The large complex is in fact located in Pinzolo, a few kilometers from Madonna di Campiglio, perfectly integrated into the landscape and based on a reinterpretation of traditional architecture and local materials, such as wood and stone, combined with essential lines that express the idea of a strong Italian style: clean and elegant, it is the result of the close collaboration between the client and Studio Apostoli, in charge of the development of interior design for its expertise in the hospitality industry and, in particular, spa design.

And it is precisely the wellness theme that constitutes the conceptual matrix of Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti: in the apartments and suites - 88 in all, divided between Prestige Junior Suite, Deluxe Junior Suite, Family SPA Suite, Exclusive SPA Suite and a Royal Pool & SPA Suite - maximum integration has been sought between the bed area and the bathroom area, with freestanding tubs from which to enjoy the magnificent view of the landscape, and the equipment, in some cases, with private saunas, beauty areas and hydromassage areas.

The wellness can therefore be enjoyed in the private spaces or in the large SPA available to guests, the real heart of the structure that is spread over several floors differentiated on a functional level: an entire floor dedicated to treatments - with 21 cabins and two private SPAs dedicated to couples -, the Lefay SPA Method energy-therapeutic paths area - with paths at different temperatures and humidity, dedicated phytotherapies and aromatherapy, a huge semicircular hydromassage pool, Hammam, different types of saunas, saline pools - swimming pool area - with a heated in & out pool and whirlpool stations and a sports pool - and the large fitness room. Natural oak parquet, light-colored leather upholstery and walls of natural granite stone, ivory or dark stone define the various areas of the wellness center, overlooking the surrounding landscape through large windows.

"We know that every architect thinks that the most important project is yet to come, but with Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti we have achieved something we are really proud of" says Alberto Apostoli, owner and founder of the homonymous studio, who continues: "Our holistic approach to the theme of wellness reaches its maximum expression here and the quality of the work, also enhanced by an impeccable direction and management, is continuously confirmed by international awards, which continue to arrive and make the name of this luxury destination".
