Lighting design and custom luminaire development at its best for a villa in the very best location in the center of Hamburg: Almost all the luminaires were specially developed for the project.

The technical upgrade of the wall luminaires next to the entrance portal was particularly successful. The existing luminaires, which were converted from gas to electricity 50 years ago, have now been equipped with LED technology and have been completely glare-reduced. A special diffuser panel is illuminated indirectly by an uplight and reflects the light onto the path area. The diffuser also allows 20% of the light to pass through to the top - this creates an almost auratic lighting effect, as the eye cannot clearly identify the light source... a kind of mirror-thrower principle.

The Bossen "Solaris" up-and-down façade spotlights are now being developed to series production readiness for the German luminaire manufacturer Flashaar-LEDlight.

The details (cast-iron wreaths) of the veranda are given a fine accent with an IP44 special extension outdoor version of the No1 spotlight from HausNo68.

On the roof is a bell tower, which was used for fire detection at the end of the 19th century. Here it is an IP65 spotlight from viabizzuno that adds a little crown to the building that can be seen from a distance.
