Author's Note

The new premises of LUCRON Development represent a focus on quality and professional responsibility.

It was important for LUCRON that the interior design would create a space with a character that could be identified with and would leave a lasting impression.

Architects focused not only on the selection of materials but also on modern and innovative technical details that are not immediately visible.

They created a blend of materials that naturally complement each other with their simplicity and organic colours creating a backdrop for daily life.

In the new office premises the entrance guides first impression by one's own reflection.

It is noticeable that everything has its place and there is space for everything.

The new LUCRON office layout is divided into two parts. The northern part consists of offices formed in a traditional way with an exception of an inner core that includes all service areas.

In contrast the southern part purposefully applies the flexible office theory.

Dominant are large desks suitable for hosting consultations and meetings.

Another prevailing feature of the layout are offices for managers called 'Cottages' creating fixed islands within the office where each ‘Cottages’ represents a different department of the organisation.

High quality acoustics and autonomous lighting systems complement pleasant working environment.

The interior as a whole is a symbol of a new trend and the company extent that LUCRON represents.

Lucron Office

Cechvala Architects as Architects

The new premises of a development and investment group with Luxembourg capital. The offices are located in administration building Steinerka Business Centre, which is a part of the former Stein brewery complex.

Responsibility and emphasis on quality, precisely these words represent Lucron’s new premises. The main idea of our proposal was to create a space with its own specific character, a space which leaves an impression on you.

For the final architecture, the choice of materials and mastery of technical details were essential, which may not be obvious at first glance. On the background of a rational spatial and material solution, the composition of organically shaped prefabricated elements stands out, which naturally fit into each other and create the backdrop of daily life. The main entrance offers the first impression and continues to reveal further layers of the interior. Everything has its own place / Everything has its own space. Lucron offices are divided into two parts. The northern part creates a traditional form of office life by arranging individual offices. Possibly with an exception of the inner core, in which all service areas are covered.

The southern part of the office space is designed differently. In this part, offices are designed as a flexible space. The dominant feature is a large worktable designed for consulting on ongoing projects. Another significant elements are the management offices - "houses". They create fixed islands in space and symbolise individual departments in the internal structure of the company.

For the quality of the working environment, it was important to work with the acoustic parameters of the materials used and autonomous lighting.

The new interior is a reflection of LUCRON's ambitions on the Slovak market.
